Harford Style Magazine’s Winter Bridal issue is out! I had the privilege of working on the fairytale fashion editorial with visionary and photographer, Amy Jones. The Brass Giraffe’s vintage gowns and jewelry are featured alongside Amanda Ritchey Bridal and Two Back Flats (bespoke headpieces). In the Fall, you may have caught some behind the scenes action from the shoot if you follow us on Instagram. Now, I’m proud to show you the full editorial. If you’re local to Harford County, be sure to grab your copy in print!

Amy approached me with the fairytale theme and overall concept for the shoot. I was elated that she asked me to be involved, provide the vintage dresses, and assist with styling. Taking the concept into consideration, I pulled several gowns and pieces of vintage jewelry from my stock that I felt were fitting. Once the models arrived, we started mixing and matching. Adding hair and make-up completed the look and pull it all together.
In addition to fashion styling, I got a taste of prop styling on this shoot. The vintage furniture (aside from the white chaise) is from my personal collection. Adding accents of gold seemed fitting for the whimsical style that we wanted to convey. Nesting tables paired with a tufted chair create the perfect tea party scene for the Alice in Wonderland look. Working on a beautiful Fall day in Harford County, I helped to set up vignettes in the woods to create the most magical shoot I’ve worked on thus far.
Stay tuned for some more behind the scenes magic coming in another post!
